xVelon-M Tablets 50Mg/500Mg contains metformin and vildagliptin. Metformin is a biguanide, the most widely used first-line medicine for type 2 diabetes. It reduces glucose production by the liver and improves the body's response to insulin. Vildagliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor that improves blood sugar control in type 2 diabetes by increasing insulin release after meals.
How to use
Take with or just after meals to reduce stomach upset. Extended-release tablets should be swallowed whole. Always follow the dose and directions given by your doctor or pharmacist and read the leaflet inside the pack.
